Class Information & FAQs
How do I register and pay for classes?
You are welcome to register online by creating a secure account in our parent portal. Or, if you prefer, visit or call the dance center to complete your registration. As always, you may pay by the week and there is no charge if your dancer is absent. We accept cash, check, credit card, and all class cards at our front desk. You may also pay online via your DSP parent portal! You are more than welcome to pre-pay for upcoming weeks, and if your dancer misses a week, that payment will be forwarded.
What happens on the first day of class?
Please check in with one of our greeters and they'll be happy to tell you who your dancer’s teacher is and which studio their class will be held in. Please walk your dancer to class, meet the instructor, and assist your dancer in putting on their dance shoes. Parents are welcome to wait in our lobby or leave the building during the class – whichever works for you, based on your comfort level.
What does my student dancer need for their weekly class?
Student dancers (non-company) require: Dance attire and appropriate shoes. (We do not have a strict dress / color code; bare feet are not allowed.) Younger dancers generally wear leotard / skirt combos and tights. Older dancers must wear dance or exercise apparel. No street clothes are allowed. We also encourage each dancer to have a dance bag. A small tote bag or backpack to keep shoes organized is very helpful! Also, dance shoes can be fitted and purchased at the dance center.
